What do rear end 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS models sell for?

Across 49 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS with rear end damage, the median was $7,050, from $3,600 to $9,900. That is 18% above the $5,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $3,600 a good price for this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

321 comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,975, spanning $3,500 to $9,900. At $3,600 this one went 40% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS's pre-damage retail value at $29,806. It sold for $3,600 — 88% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

This VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 48,143 miles high for a 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings at auction averaged 80,065 miles across 321 sales, so at 48,143 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

This 2020 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
