Question 1

What do rear 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 83 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS with rear damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,600 to $6,575. That is 15% above the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

1610 comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $6,500. At $3,050 this one went 31% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS has rear and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 126,025 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings at auction averaged 118,576 miles across 1610 sales, so at 126,025 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
