Question 1

What do front & rear 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS with front & rear damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,075 to $5,100. That is 9% below the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,550 a good price for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

1610 comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $6,500. At $3,550 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - VANCOUVER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS has front & rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 109,117 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings at auction averaged 118,647 miles across 1610 sales, so at 109,117 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
