Question 1

What do left side 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 49 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS with left side damage, the median was $4,525, from $3,300 to $6,000. That is 2% above the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - CROTHERSVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 146,338 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings at auction averaged 118,647 miles across 1610 sales, so at 146,338 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS was listed at IAAI as lot 45048435 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
