Question 1

What do rear end 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 338 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA with rear end damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,400 to $9,200. That is 10% above the $5,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,300 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA?

Accepted Answer

2292 comparable 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA listings sold at auction for a median of $5,200, spanning $3,450 to $9,200. At $9,300 this one went 79% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA SIENNA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA's pre-damage retail value at $29,870. It sold for $9,300 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 147,167 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA listings at auction averaged 117,227 miles across 2292 sales, so at 147,167 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
