Question 1

What do unknown 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA with unknown damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,050 to $8,800. That is 11% below the $5,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,750 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA?

Accepted Answer

2363 comparable 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA listings sold at auction for a median of $5,150, spanning $3,450 to $9,200. At $3,750 this one went 27% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA SIENNA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA SIENNA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 89,865 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA listings at auction averaged 117,683 miles across 2363 sales, so at 89,865 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
