Question 1

What do front end 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 4536 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4 with front end damage, the median was $9,050, from $5,600 to $13,000. That is 4% below the $9,425 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,800 a good price for this 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

9157 comparable 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,425, spanning $5,600 to $13,850. At $6,800 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA RAV 4 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 74,093 miles high for a 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings at auction averaged 71,696 miles across 9157 sales, so at 74,093 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this TOYOTA RAV 4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - SAN ANTONIO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
