Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $9,800, from $5,100 to $14,900. That is 10% above the $8,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $18,050 a good price for this 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

5579 comparable 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,900, spanning $5,500 to $13,000. At $18,050 this one went 103% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA RAV 4 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA RAV 4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - GARDENA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 104,989 miles high for a 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings at auction averaged 81,938 miles across 5579 sales, so at 104,989 miles this one sits 28% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
