Question 1

Was $5,200 a good price for this 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

9577 comparable 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,625, spanning $3,750 to $8,200. At $5,200 this one went 8% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA RAV 4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - RANCHO CORDOVA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 145,007 miles high for a 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings at auction averaged 99,234 miles across 9577 sales, so at 145,007 miles this one sits 46% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 TOYOTA RAV 4 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with exterior burn damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
