Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4 with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $5,388, from $3,600 to $8,800. That is level with the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,850 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

7498 comparable 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,400, spanning $3,700 to $7,800. At $7,850 this one went 45% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA RAV 4 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this TOYOTA RAV 4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 1 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings at auction averaged 110,939 miles across 7498 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
