Question 1

What do hail 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 110 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4 with hail damage, the median was $7,275, from $5,100 to $10,700. That is 43% above the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this TOYOTA RAV 4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - LORAIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 178,733 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4 listings at auction averaged 123,275 miles across 5599 sales, so at 178,733 miles this one sits 45% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 TOYOTA RAV 4 was listed at IAAI as lot 45937602 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
