Question 1

What do front end 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1449 recorded sales of the 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front end damage, the median was $14,400, from $8,700 to $20,000. That is 3% below the $14,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,750 a good price for this 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3153 comparable 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $14,900, spanning $8,800 to $21,550. At $12,750 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 66,873 miles high for a 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 64,211 miles across 3153 sales, so at 66,873 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
