Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 114 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $17,800, from $10,400 to $23,250. That is 25% above the $14,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,400 a good price for this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3841 comparable 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $14,200, spanning $8,300 to $20,550. At $16,400 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

Is 129,300 miles high for a 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 78,519 miles across 3841 sales, so at 129,300 miles this one sits 65% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MS - FLORENCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
