Question 1

What do front end 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 148 recorded sales of the 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front end damage, the median was $21,800, from $14,775 to $29,000. That is 5% below the $22,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 12,585 miles high for a 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 6,893 miles across 333 sales, so at 12,585 miles this one sits 83% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in ID - STATEN ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER has front end and engine damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
