What do hail 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Across 57 recorded sales of the 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with hail damage, the median was $20,500, from $14,900 to $29,325. That is 33% above the $15,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $20,600 a good price for this 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

2750 comparable 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $15,400, spanning $9,000 to $23,450. At $20,600 this one went 34% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a clear mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

This 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - DALE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 43,422 miles high for a 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Comparable 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 49,378 miles across 2750 sales, so at 43,422 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
