Question 1

What do front & rear 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 60 recorded sales of the 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front & rear damage, the median was $13,200, from $8,100 to $20,550. That is 11% below the $14,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,600 a good price for this 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3111 comparable 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $14,900, spanning $8,800 to $21,600. At $13,600 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 14,606 miles high for a 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 64,026 miles across 3111 sales, so at 14,606 miles this one sits 77% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
