Question 1

What do vandalism 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with vandalism damage, the median was $17,150, from $10,500 to $25,500. That is 21% above the $14,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $25,500 a good price for this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3825 comparable 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $14,200, spanning $8,300 to $20,600. At $25,500 this one went 80% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER's pre-damage retail value at $34,329. It sold for $25,500 — 26% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 42,852 miles high for a 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 78,594 miles across 3825 sales, so at 42,852 miles this one sits 45% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
