Question 1

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

1959 comparable 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $13,100, spanning $7,400 to $18,700. At $8,700 this one went 34% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - COLTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5TDHZRAH6LS012561?

Accepted Answer

5TDHZRAH6LS012561 identifies this specific 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER in white with a 3.5l 6 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was listed at COPART as lot 88158605 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
