Question 1

What do front end 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 902 recorded sales of the 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front end damage, the median was $12,500, from $7,500 to $17,700. That is 5% below the $13,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,850 a good price for this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

2009 comparable 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $13,100, spanning $7,300 to $18,675. At $13,850 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 111,601 miles high for a 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 86,521 miles across 2009 sales, so at 111,601 miles this one sits 29% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
