Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 68 recorded sales of the 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $16,500, from $10,000 to $21,300. That is 26% above the $13,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,800 a good price for this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

2002 comparable 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $13,100, spanning $7,325 to $18,600. At $8,800 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 219,053 miles high for a 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 86,688 miles across 2002 sales, so at 219,053 miles this one sits 153% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
