Question 1

What do front end 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1767 recorded sales of the 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front end damage, the median was $7,900, from $4,600 to $11,500. That is 7% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,550 a good price for this 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3555 comparable 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,800 to $12,650. At $5,550 this one went 35% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - CONSHOHOCKEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER has front end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 1 miles high for a 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 111,574 miles across 3555 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
