Question 1

What do front end 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1780 recorded sales of the 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front end damage, the median was $7,900, from $4,600 to $11,600. That is 7% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,200 a good price for this 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3588 comparable 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,800 to $12,650. At $13,200 this one went 55% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 155,312 miles high for a 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 111,703 miles across 3588 sales, so at 155,312 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
