Question 1

What do front & rear 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 65 recorded sales of the 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front & rear damage, the median was $7,225, from $3,900 to $11,950. That is 17% below the $8,725 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,550 a good price for this 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

4347 comparable 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,725, spanning $4,850 to $13,500. At $4,550 this one went 48% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - MORGANVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 42,200 miles high for a 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 97,655 miles across 4347 sales, so at 42,200 miles this one sits 57% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
