Question 1

What do front & rear 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 41 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front & rear damage, the median was $7,100, from $3,650 to $8,975. That is 11% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,175 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3097 comparable 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,400 to $11,900. At $3,175 this one went 60% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - SUSSEX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 80,387 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 122,645 miles across 3097 sales, so at 80,387 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
