Question 1

What do front end 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1544 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front end damage, the median was $7,500, from $4,150 to $10,900. That is 6% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,500 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3097 comparable 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,400 to $11,900. At $3,500 this one went 56% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER's pre-damage retail value at $23,393. It sold for $3,500 — 85% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

Is 100,533 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 122,645 miles across 3097 sales, so at 100,533 miles this one sits 18% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
