Question 1

What do front & rear 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 67 recorded sales of the 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front & rear damage, the median was $7,225, from $3,900 to $11,950. That is 17% below the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,400 a good price for this 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

4321 comparable 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,850 to $13,500. At $6,400 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - PERRIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 83,585 miles high for a 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 97,564 miles across 4321 sales, so at 83,585 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was AUTO CLUB OF SOUTHERN CA (ACSC). Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
