Question 1

What do front & rear 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 64 recorded sales of the 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with front & rear damage, the median was $7,150, from $3,900 to $11,950. That is 18% below the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

4228 comparable 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,850 to $13,550. At $5,500 this one went 37% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in SC - SIMPSONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 151,162 miles high for a 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 97,207 miles across 4228 sales, so at 151,162 miles this one sits 56% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
