Question 1

What do left & right side 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with left & right side damage, the median was $11,650, from $8,150 to $17,750. That is 18% below the $14,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,000 a good price for this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

3827 comparable 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $14,200, spanning $8,300 to $20,600. At $12,000 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage-pa mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a salvage-pa. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - CONSHOHOCKEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER has left & right side and rollover damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
