Question 1

Was $16,000 a good price for this 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

334 comparable 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings sold at auction for a median of $22,950, spanning $12,600 to $32,250. At $16,000 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER has fresh water and flood damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 4,972 miles high for a 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 6,922 miles across 334 sales, so at 4,972 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2026 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with fresh water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
