Question 1

What do water/flood 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with water/flood damage, the median was $12,400, from $9,000 to $17,900. That is 13% below the $14,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in UT - MAGNA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 96,882 miles high for a 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 78,490 miles across 3831 sales, so at 96,882 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5TDHBRCH5MS522399?

Accepted Answer

5TDHBRCH5MS522399 identifies this specific 2021 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER in blue with a 2.5l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
