Question 1

What do left front 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 110 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA with left front damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,050 to $5,650. That is 3% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

5655 comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $3,050 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA COROLLA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this TOYOTA COROLLA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CLAYTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 77,406 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 108,079 miles across 5655 sales, so at 77,406 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
