Question 1

What do side 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 714 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA with side damage, the median was $4,900, from $3,550 to $6,900. That is 1% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,000 a good price for this 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

7992 comparable 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,450 to $7,200. At $5,000 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA COROLLA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $21,195. It sold for $5,000 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

Is 25,083 miles high for a 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 78,498 miles across 7992 sales, so at 25,083 miles this one sits 68% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
