Question 1

What do rear end 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1125 recorded sales of the 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA with rear end damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,650 to $7,300. That is 7% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,800 a good price for this 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

8158 comparable 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,450 to $7,200. At $3,800 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA COROLLA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $16,788. It sold for $3,800 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 76,610 miles high for a 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 78,922 miles across 8158 sales, so at 76,610 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
