Question 1

What do hail 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 136 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA with hail damage, the median was $5,500, from $3,650 to $7,800. That is 41% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,850 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

5551 comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $3,850 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA COROLLA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 123,677 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 108,119 miles across 5551 sales, so at 123,677 miles this one sits 14% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this TOYOTA COROLLA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - DALE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
