Question 1

What do left side 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 181 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA with left side damage, the median was $3,875, from $3,150 to $5,525. That is 1% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,300 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

5655 comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $5,300 this one went 36% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA COROLLA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - PORTLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 41,597 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 108,079 miles across 5655 sales, so at 41,597 miles this one sits 62% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
