Question 1

What do front end 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1836 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA with front end damage, the median was $3,550, from $3,050 to $4,650. That is 3% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,400 a good price for this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

4319 comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,650, spanning $3,100 to $5,000. At $5,400 this one went 48% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 59,742 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 110,055 miles across 4319 sales, so at 59,742 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
