Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 58 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,125, from $3,125 to $7,100. That is 13% above the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,500 a good price for this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

4335 comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,650, spanning $3,100 to $5,000. At $10,500 this one went 188% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TOYOTA COROLLA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear-nc mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a clear-nc. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA COROLLA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CHARLOTTE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 101,572 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 109,994 miles across 4335 sales, so at 101,572 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
