Question 1

What do top/roof 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA with top/roof damage, the median was $3,450, from $3,050 to $4,350. That is 5% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,750 a good price for this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

4263 comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,650, spanning $3,100 to $5,000. At $3,750 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $12,885. It sold for $3,750 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This TOYOTA COROLLA has top/roof and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 93,705 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 109,918 miles across 4263 sales, so at 93,705 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
