What do rear end 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Across 792 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA with rear end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 3% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

5743 comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $4,000 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $9,274. It sold for $4,000 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

This 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

This TOYOTA COROLLA has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 195,467 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 108,198 miles across 5743 sales, so at 195,467 miles this one sits 81% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
