Question 1

What do front end 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2641 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA with front end damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,100 to $5,100. That is 4% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,500 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

5716 comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $3,500 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $10,166. It sold for $3,500 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This TOYOTA COROLLA has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 119,301 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 108,196 miles across 5716 sales, so at 119,301 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
