Question 1

What do front end 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1856 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA with front end damage, the median was $3,550, from $3,050 to $4,650. That is 3% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

4375 comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,650, spanning $3,100 to $5,000. At $4,000 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $16,609. It sold for $4,000 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 81,656 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 110,091 miles across 4375 sales, so at 81,656 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This TOYOTA COROLLA has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
