Question 1

Was $12,700 a good price for this 2020 TOYOTA CAMRY?

Accepted Answer

8195 comparable 2020 TOYOTA CAMRY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,900 to $9,300. At $12,700 this one went 105% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA CAMRY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 TOYOTA CAMRY's pre-damage retail value at $25,727. It sold for $12,700 — 51% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA CAMRY?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 TOYOTA CAMRY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 TOYOTA CAMRY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA CAMRY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - PEKIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 TOYOTA CAMRY?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
