Question 1

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

314 comparable 2017 TOYOTA AVALON listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,350 to $7,400. At $6,500 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 TOYOTA AVALON was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this TOYOTA AVALON from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MT - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 TOYOTA AVALON. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 83,024 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA AVALON listings at auction averaged 100,179 miles across 314 sales, so at 83,024 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 TOYOTA AVALON come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with right side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
