Question 1

What do rear end 2016 TOYOTA AVALON models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 124 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA AVALON with rear end damage, the median was $4,400, from $3,200 to $6,900. That is 2% above the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2016 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

830 comparable 2016 TOYOTA AVALON listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,250 to $6,700. At $3,350 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA AVALON sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 TOYOTA AVALON's pre-damage retail value at $14,798. It sold for $3,350 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This TOYOTA AVALON has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 107,729 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA AVALON listings at auction averaged 110,546 miles across 830 sales, so at 107,729 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA AVALON was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
