Question 1

What do front end 2016 TOYOTA AVALON models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 372 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA AVALON with front end damage, the median was $4,175, from $3,200 to $6,200. That is 3% below the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,500 a good price for this 2016 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

828 comparable 2016 TOYOTA AVALON listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,250 to $6,700. At $3,500 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA AVALON sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 TOYOTA AVALON's pre-damage retail value at $13,817. It sold for $3,500 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA AVALON was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This TOYOTA AVALON has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 107,071 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA AVALON listings at auction averaged 110,522 miles across 828 sales, so at 107,071 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
