Question 1

What do all over 2022 TOYOTA AVALON models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2022 TOYOTA AVALON with all over damage, the median was $8,000, from $7,000 to $10,500. That is 25% below the $10,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2022 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

274 comparable 2022 TOYOTA AVALON listings sold at auction for a median of $10,700, spanning $6,725 to $15,200. At $8,000 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 TOYOTA AVALON was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 TOYOTA AVALON. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this TOYOTA AVALON from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - AVENEL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 66,000 miles high for a 2022 TOYOTA AVALON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 TOYOTA AVALON listings at auction averaged 57,164 miles across 274 sales, so at 66,000 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
