Question 1

What do front end 2020 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 454 recorded sales of the 2020 TESLA MODEL Y with front end damage, the median was $7,300, from $4,350 to $11,000. That is 6% below the $7,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TESLA MODEL Y sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL Y has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 109,859 miles high for a 2020 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 74,309 miles across 1094 sales, so at 109,859 miles this one sits 48% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2020 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 TESLA MODEL Y from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 TESLA MODEL Y was listed at IAAI as lot 46328160 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
