Question 1

What do rear 2022 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 232 recorded sales of the 2022 TESLA MODEL Y with rear damage, the median was $10,250, from $6,000 to $14,750. That is 5% above the $9,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 63,440 miles high for a 2022 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 56,758 miles across 4416 sales, so at 63,440 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 7SAYGDEE9NA004065?

Accepted Answer
