Question 1

What do rear 2022 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 219 recorded sales of the 2022 TESLA MODEL Y with rear damage, the median was $10,100, from $5,650 to $14,900. That is 4% above the $9,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,400 a good price for this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

4149 comparable 2022 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $9,700, spanning $5,350 to $14,300. At $6,400 this one went 34% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - PEMBROKE PINES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 128,326 miles high for a 2022 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 55,928 miles across 4149 sales, so at 128,326 miles this one sits 129% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This TESLA MODEL Y has rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
