Question 1

What do mechanical 2021 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL Y with mechanical damage, the median was $7,650, from $6,300 to $11,000. That is 8% below the $8,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,100 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

3767 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $8,300, spanning $4,900 to $12,600. At $7,100 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - LATIMORE TOWNSHIP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 130,890 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 67,067 miles across 3767 sales, so at 130,890 miles this one sits 95% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TESLA MODEL Y. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
